Applications

PIR Foam provides the perfect core for structural insulated panels. This is due to its superior R values, structural rigidity and fire performance.

Possible facing options are steel (cool rooms), plywood, aluminium, cement sheet and other external or internal finishes.

  • Cold Store Doors, Walls & Ceiling infill
  • Farmers can build their sheds for their live stock (Roofing and Walls)
  • Builders use PIR Foam panels as an exterior cladding system for commercial & residential projects
  • For Marine and Transport it is the ideal core for fibreglassed skinned panels
  • Air conditioning and frigde linings
  • Under/over concrete slabs for thermal insulation
  • Site sheds for residential, commercial and industrial construction
  • Education and Government projects where there is a need for high Thermal needs
  • Roof and Ceilings infill panel for Pergolas, Patios and Carports

Benefits

  • Thermal R value 2.2 - 8
  • Water Absorption = zero
  • Moisture and Mold resistant
  • Helps to achieve 5 star house energy ratings
  • CodeMark certification to the BCA, including AS/NZS 4859.1
  • Significantly reducing heat gain & heat loss for wall and ceiling insulation
  • Superior in performance in a fire compared to other types of insulation products
  • Resistant to solvents used in construction adhesives

Our Environmental Statement

The search for energy efficiency is one of the defining characteristics of our age. No matter who we are or where we come from, we are all in some way concerned about pollution, global warming and the kind of world we’ll be leaving for our kids. And yet, often the most surprising thing about the whole issue of energy conservation is just how safe, easy and cost-effective the solutions can be.

Polyurethane rigid foam (PIR) is the world’s most effective insulation material. It is also extremely light and versatile.

In field tests have shown that, installing insulated windows and polyurethane rigid foam (PIR) boards on the walls, roofs, floors and ceilings of existing houses have contributed to reducing the houses’ heating energy consumption by more than 50 percent. Therefore, it is a clean and cost-effective way of cutting fuel cost and saving precious energy resources.

We are one of Australia’s largest producers of polyurethane rigid foam, and with years of production application experience, supported by a team of dedicated technicians customer service professionals, we provide a comprehensive mixture of outstanding products, solutions to application requirement and the ability to bring it all together for you.
