Product overview

PIR Foam incorporates polyisocyanurate closed cell foam. The facings of the panel can have the following finishes to both sides.

• Mineral fiberglass
• Paper
• Foil Laminate Paper

The panel size can be 1200mm or 1350mm wide, with any thickness from 25mm, 42mm, 50mm, 75mm & 100mm and up to 10metres in length.

If you need a specific size, our panels can be cut to any dimension or shape to meet your requirements.

Performance

To increase the performance of our panels, we are constantly developing our products to ensure we always meet the latest legislative requirements, building control regulations and insurance company needs.

Newly developed products undergo thorough in-house testing. We also carryout regular fire tests in established testing centers, such as CSIRO and BRANZ in Melbourne and Sydney.

In conjunction with one of our leading distributor's Ecostar Systems we can offer a BAL40 rated product to meet all your fire rating requirements in BAL areas.

PIR External Wall System - BAL 40

The core component of the EcoStar Wall Systems is the PIR board, manufactured in Australia to AS. 1366.2.1992. When correctly installed the EcoStar PIR System is aesthetically pleasing and offers advantages of speedy construction which translates to lower construction costs, high thermal energy efficiency, supreme durability and significant floor space savings.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: The Ecostar Wall System complies with AS 3959.2009 – Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone areas - the new BAL (Extreme)Fire Resistance Criteria and is tested by Exova Warringtonfire to AS 1530.8.1.2007 to meet – BAL 40 (Extreme) Fire Resistance Criteria.
